This newly designed bent sear plate is intended for use alongside the upgraded deflector plate and wood split basket, enabling you to either sear or shift it aside to refill your wood split basket. If searing is not wanted, you can place the current solid sear plate cover on top of this new plate to create a sandwich effect that will seal in the heat. Additionally, the extra material positioned directly above the firepot will assist in reducing flare-ups and distributing the heat more uniformly throughout the smoker. Designed to fit the Lone Star Grillz pellet smokers. Constructed of 1/8" A36 steel.
